Once turned down by a Shoreditch DJ agency for being “too much of a maverick DJ” because he wouldn’t stick to one sound, NOLAN has always been one to read the crowd and deliver, regardless of whatever the genre du jour might be. Drawing on a vast array of influences from Disco to House, Funk to Breaks & Techno to Dub, NOLAN remains a forward thinking & innovative producer & DJ. His studio prowess has landed him record deals with some of the most respected & influential labels around the world including Mobilee, Bedrock, Stil vor Talent, LNOE, Faith, Circus Recordings, Renaissance & Get Physical Music.

Master of disguise NOLAN is also one half of the enigmatic Cypherpunx duo with records out on Crosstown Rebels, Global Underground and Bedrock with music featured on both Sasha & John Digweed’s most recent albums. Alongside their alter ego Flip Fantazia, a guise used for ‘Intelligent Modern Drama-Score’ or Library Music as it was once fondly known! Signed to Ninja Tune & BMG Production Music companies, Deep East Music, Cavendish & The Music Supervisors NOLAN has written over 100 tracks specifically for TV/Sync purposes some of which have featured on Masterchef, Sky News, The X Factor and doof doof doof…. Eastenders!

An engineer by day NOLAN also Mixes & Masters other producers projects in his Brighton studio. Often helping with extra layers of production and arrangement whilst adding the finishing touches to tracks for artists signed to Hot Creations, Afterlife, Defected, Repopulate Mars, Drumcode and Anjunadeep to name drop a few!

As a massive advocate of the collaboration NOLAN has worked with the likes of Idris Elba, Davide Squillace, Just Her, Serge Santiago, Sébastien Léger, Luke Brancaccio and esteemed vocalists including Robert Owens, JAW, Forrest, Mr V., Joi Cardwell, Rachel Adedeji, Sam Obernik, Amber Jolene & Ursula Rucker garnering over 20 millions plays on YouTube… not that we’re counting!

As the AI machine suggests… “It’s NOLAN’s overriding ability to blend classic and modern sounds which has cemented his place as a respected and influential figure in the underground house music scene.”
