Canopic Recordings Takeover — ft. Doc Scott

Canopic Recordings is built on a simple obsession: proper jungle and drum & bass, with respect for the foundations and an ear for what’s next. Born out of the UK’s deep-rooted rave heritage, the label has carved a lane for rolling low-end, crisp breaks and that unmistakable late-night tension-and-release that only DnB does properly.

For Good Vibrations Society, Canopic brings a lineup that reads like a love letter to the culture — with special guest Doc Scott, a genuine architect of the sound. From early rave and jungle to the deeper, more technical “headz” era, Doc Scott has been a guiding force for decades, and his sets are famous for being surgical, heavy, and relentlessly musical.

Surrounding that are the people keeping the flame burning locally: Twenty4Carat b2b Phazeman, plus Deepcutt, Aura, and Jack South — selectors rooted in the same DNA: breakbeats, bass pressure, and the kind of tunes that make a forest clearing feel like a warehouse at 2am. This is one for the heads and the dancers.
