Covid Entry Requirements.

We really want everyone to feel safe and secure whilst on site, so we’ve decided to ask everyone aged of 11 or older to to show one of the following at the gate:

Either:

    • Proof of full vaccination – both doses received (with the second at least 14 days prior to the event)

or

    • Proof of a negative NHS Lateral Flow Test taken within 48 hours of arrival at the event

or

    • Proof of natural immunity based upon a positive PCR test within 180 days of the event (including 10 days self-isolation following the result).
 

If you are resident in England, you can show your status easily via the NHS COVID Pass on the NHS App. For more information on how to do this, please click here.

We recommend that you screenshot or download a copy of your NHS COVID Pass prior to arrival so that you have it ready to show at the entry gates. Alternatively, you can print a copy and bring this with you.

If you don’t have access to a smartphone or computer, then you can call 119 to request a letter to demonstrate your vaccination status or online here. Please note that the letter can take up to 5 working days to reach you. This letter will be sent to the address registered with your GP.

If you cannot access your NHS COVID Pass or if you do not receive a vaccination status letter in time you will need to provide evidence of a negative NHS Lateral Flow Test, by reporting the result here and presenting your NHS email or text notification at the gate.

Children under 11 are exempt from the above rules, although we encourage parents to test children if possible.

If I need a test?

Tests are fast and easy and available for free from the link below:

Once you have your tests, follow these instructions:

  1. 48 to 24 hours before you plan to arrive on site, take a test. If it’s positive, we’re really sorry but we can’t welcome you to Good Vibrations Society this year 🙁 please register the result with the NHS, stay at home and observe self isolation guidelines.
  2. If the test is negative, great! Register the test with the NHS using this link https://www.gov.uk/report-covid19-result
  3. You will receive a text message confirmation of the result, show this text message at the gate and enjoy your stay!
  4. If you are unable to receive a text message from the NHS we will also accept an image of the negative test with your name and the date.

Once onsite we will have sanitisation points and lots of space so you can enjoy your weekend without worrying.

Where can I buy tickets?

All official tickets to the event are only sold through this website and eventbrite.co.uk. Do not purchase tickets from any other ticket site as these will not be valid and we can not guarantee that you will be able to get your money back.

When can I arrive?

The wristband exchange will be open 12:00 noon until 8:30pm each day. Please don’t arrive outside of these times.

Age Restrictions

All ages are welcome into the Good Vibrations Society. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult 25 or older at all times. We recommend getting a wristband with your contact information to put on your child’s wrist so that in the event they get lost, we can contact you immediately. Anyone lost or missing someone should find a festival organiser or go to the welfare tent to seek help.

The only forms of identification we accept are:

  • Valid passport
  • Valid drivers licence
  • PASS identification card

You must have the original document, copies are not accepted.

Pets

We’re really sorry but we are unable to allow dogs (apart from guide dogs) or other pets onsite.

Ticket Questions

Types of tickets

We are offering Weekend and “Day” tickets.

Weekend tickets give you access to the site from 12:00 noon on Friday 6th august until 12:00 noon on Monday 9th august. Day tickets give you access to the site from 12:00 noon on the day purchased until 11:00am the following day.

All tickets come with camping for the night(s) that come after the day(s) purchased, although you don’t have to camp if you don’t wish!

Booking fees

We charge a booking fee to cover the costs associated with your booking. This includes the lovely people that run the ticketing system, deal with your ticket and wristbands at the gate as well as customer service, IT costs and the wristbands themselves.

E-Tickets & Wristband Exchange

All tickets are delivered as e-tickets via e-mail. On entrance to the festival your ticket will be scanned and a wristband issued. This wristband then acts as your ticket for the remainder of your stay with us.

Cancellation due to COVID-19

If the event is cancelled or dramatically impacted by Covid-19 then all ticket buys will have the right to apply for a refund (full or partial respectively) or carry the ticket over to 2022’s event. Applications for refund have to be submitted within 30 days of the scheduled event.

You should not attend the Event if any of the following apply:

  • you have tested positive for Covid-19 within 10 days of the commencement of the Event.
  • you display any symptoms of Covid-19 within 10 days of the commencement of the Event.
  • you live with somebody or are in a linked household with somebody who displays symptoms of Covid-19 or who has tested positive for Covid-19 within 10 days of the commencement of the Event.
  • you are otherwise required to self-isolate.
  • your attendance would be in breach of latest government legislation or guidance relating to Covid-19 containment at the time of the Event. Please note, these could differ from the above sub paragraphs.

If any of the above circumstances apply to you but the Event has not been cancelled or postponed, refunds will be issued at our discretion or you may be permitted to transfer your Ticket to the following year’s Event.

Travel

Where is the site entrance?

The site entrance is HERE this is where everyone needs to go to get on site.

Parking

There is parking on site a short walk from the campsite. Parking is priced at £6 per car, regardless of duration.

Train

Victoria to East Grinstead line:

This terminates at East Grinstead and runs every half hour through the day. Journey time from Victoria is 55 minutes.

Taxis from the East Grinstead station take 15 minutes.

Bedford to Brighton Line:

Stop at Haywards Heath.

Taxis from Haywards Heath station take 25 minutes.

Victoria to Brighton Line:

Stop at Haywards Heath.

Taxis from Haywards Heath station take 25 minutes.

Bus

The nearest bus stop is at Wych Cross (about 1.5 miles from Pippingford) and is serviced by:

261 East Grinstead to Uckfield.

270 East Grinstead to Brighton.

By special request drivers on the 261 East Grinstead to Uckfield route may stop outside the entrance to Pippingford on the A22.

All taxis should be pre booked.

Camping

What facilities are available inside the campsite?

There will be plenty of room to enjoy the stunning Ashdown Forest safely. There will be warm showers, drinking water, toilets and an onsite supplies shop courtesy of Harvest Supplies the Ashdown Forest based organic healthfood shop. This will be the perfect environment to enjoy the weekend.

Can I bring a caravan / camper van?

Yes! We have dedicated pitches for caravans and campervans. However this must be booked in advance, look for the applicable option on the booking screen. You will also need a normal ticket for each occupant to access the event.

Can I bring my own booze?

Day ticket holders aren’t permitted to bring alcohol onsite.

Each weekend ticket holder may bring:

12 cans of beer/lager and/or cider

OR

75cl of spirit in a non-glass container

OR

2.25 litres of wine (which must be decanted into a non-glass container) 

Can I cook or BBQ?

Absolutely! Gas cookers are allowed in the main campsite up to a canister size of 3.9Kg. Larger canisters are not allowed into the campsite.

BBQs are only allowed inside the designated areas which will be clearly marked.

Arena

What food and drink will be available in the arena?

We’re still in the process of selecting our favourites. Rest assured we will do our best to cater for all tastes and dietary requirements. Check back soon for more information.

Accessibility

Good Vibrations Society takes place in wild countryside, please bear this in mind as the ground may be poor or unmade.
