Thanks for your interest in volunteering at Good Vibrations Society!
Our Volunteer Packages
Build Shift (pre show): Tuesday 29th July – Friday 1st August (pre midday)
2 x shifts working 10:00 – 18:00. 3 meals per day provided during the build.
These shifts allow you to see how the festival gets created by the hard working team, and then you have the whole weekend free to enjoy the festival!
You can do an extra shift this week if you’re available to and up for it, in exchange for merchandise or food tokens on the show days.
Show Shifts: Friday 1st August (from midday) – Monday 4th August (midday)
This will be 2 x 7 hour shifts rota’d over the festival. You will get one free meal per shift and one completely free day to enjoy the festival.
Breakdown Volunteers – Monday 4th August
If you fancy helping out any further in addition to the above shifts, we’d love to have you stay onsite with us on the Monday after the show, to help us clear the campsites to return the fields to the cows just how we found them. Continue soaking up those Good Vibrations for an extra day, and as a thank you we’d offer 3 meals in our crew catering that day too!
It will be necessary to pay a deposit of £130 for anyone working with us. Deposits will be returned after the festival if all agreed shifts are worked, and these will be processed within a week or two, however, it may take a little longer depending on some banks!
We have a variety of roles and departments that you can work alongside during Good Vibrations Society 2025, please have a read through the team descriptions below and let us know what seems like the right fit.
Creative Team (Build Phase Only)
Join the artists and creative masterminds who bring the festival to life through art, craft, and decoration. Things can get delightfully messy, silly and magical, so be prepared to dive in!
- Painting
This could be painting any of our incredible decorations or functional works of art to be placed across site.. being signage, schedule boards, murals – from following templates to creating your own magic with brushes and pots of paint. - Small Crafts
Sewing, gluing, and using natural materials (like twigs and leaves) to create unique decorative items. Take inspiration from our beautiful surroundings! - Decor Crafts
Think weaving, binding, and building larger decorative pieces – plus hanging bunting and placing set props around the site. If you have specific tools or skills, let your Volunteer Manager know – who knows what you could teach and learn in return? - Carpentry & Tools
Using hand and power tools to build and dismantle structures, screw signs to posts, and hammer in the finishing touches, to name a few. - Working at Height
Some of the above tasks may involve ladders or elevated work. Please let us know if you’d prefer to keep your feet on the ground, there’s plenty to do on every level!
Site Infrastructure Team (Build Phase Only)
Join our superstar site crew getting stuck into the hands-on work of building the festival from the ground up.
- Unloading Trucks & Moving Equipment
Barriers, bins, furniture – you’ll help shift it all into place so we can turn the field into a festival! - Fencing, Tents & Gazebos
Setting up the bones of the site – helping assemble structures that shape the event and create our temporary home. - Assisting Stage Builds
Get involved in building the very stages where the weekend’s magic will unfold and know that when you’re watching performances, you quite literally created the ground they stand on. - Running Cables
Laying power and sound cables ahead of the tech teams’ arrival, helping set the scene behind the scenes. - Sound Tech Support
Helping our sound crew with any infrastructure needs, so they can get the artists sounding beautiful! - Woodwork & Assembly
Measuring, cutting, assembling – if you’re handy with tools, you’ll love getting stuck into the build. - Outdoor Physical Work
This is manual, outdoor work.. ideal if you don’t mind a bit of mud, enjoy being active, and can handle sunshine or a cheeky bit of rain! - Bonus Skills?
Have you got experience in carpentry, electrics, PAT testing, or skilled with power tools? Let us know! Safety is key, and we love having knowledgeable hands on our team.
Technical Production (Build or Show Days)
Support the wondrous Tech Prod team behind the lights, sound, and sparkles. If you’re keen on tech and eager to learn more about live sound production, you’ll be right at home here.
