Keep Well Events is a company facilitating workshops focusing on holistic wellbeing and self sufficiency, explaining how the latter influences the overall mental wellbeing and contributes to sustainability.
For this GVS workshop the emphasis is on food and its preservation, namely fermentation: the health benefits of this ancient food preservation process, its history, the microbiology involved, different types of fermentation, and the practical aspects of the process, including what to ferment, how, and how to store the produce.
There will be a practical demonstration (kimchi) and tasting of home fermented and brewed products.
