These magnificent people are but a part of what allows us to have such a gorgeous site. Numerous volunteers, as well as collaboration between all the other departments, means Good Vibrations can vibrate at the frequency that we do. Thank you to all that make the magic happen!
Charlotte von Szczepanski
Creative Production Manager
A creative fixture on site since year one where she designed and built the venue now known as the Root, Charlotte has since then thought about the festival design all year around, and built the team who bring you the creative delights of Good Vibrations Society. Can be found answering multiple ringing phones and marching all over site whilst already thinking about 2025
Annie Tinsley
Designer & Scenic Painter
Scenic painter by day and scenic painter and designer on site, Annie brings herself in all her colourful glory wherever she goes. Can be found covered in paint, with a creatively wrapped shawl and creating magic all over the signs and venues
Elena Catangiu
Designer
Set and costume designer by day, and the design lead on The Nest, Elena has many amazing ideas and the skills to deliver them. Can be found with a smile surrounded by heaps of colourful bits and bobs. She is never without a kind word and laugh, or a well chosen outfit
Ellis Berwick
Designer
Sculpture artist and musician by day, and rocking up on site ready to get stuck in wherever he is needed, Ellis brings laughs and a hefty tool belt. Can be found up a ladder, laughing and making things happen!
Melissa Sallabanks-Blissett
Designer & Carpenter
Scenic carpenter by day, talented and funny all the time, Melissa brings grins and grit to the team. Can be found rocking the hi vis and with a cool head amongst the (organised) chaos. Every year she brings more tools, and we love her for it.
Robin John Bartl
Designer
Arriving quietly from the mountains of Austria, but with a very loud laugh, Robin has a knack for finding the perfect creative solution. He has been invaluable from the moment he arrived on site, and his artistry is seen from the flowers on the Bloom stage to the trees outside the Root. Can be found making people feel good about themselves and just getting on with building things well.
Amber Winch
Design Assistant
All around glorious human being, Amber joined the crew as a volunteer a few years ago and is a treasured and handy must-have going forward. Can be found also covered in paint with a gorgeous hat on, always with a kind word, and a delight with a paintbrush.
Sanjay Dhokia
Design Assistant
New to the team, and with enough energy and enthusiasm to build an entire festival, Sanjay dreams of creating playful wonders alongside other talented individuals. A skilled maker, he can be found at The Nest making exactly that happen and chatting all the way through
Raphy Vraets
Head Carpenter
Back onsite after a year off to parent, Raphy is a multi-talented business owner and carpenter by day and the very same man who will be delivering the closing set from the Warren to Good Vibrations Society 2024. (We did say multi-talented…!) Can be found grinning whilst efficiently and with great skills erecting the larger carpentry parts that make up our venues. Welcome back!
Matt Ransom
Carpenter
Another volunteer who has made himself irreplaceable, Matt brings so much joy and warmth to the team. His gentle nature belies the strength and steeliness with which he supports the creative build. Can be found always one step ahead with a wake of work well done behind him

A newbie in name only, Edouard is a highly skilled and talented carpenter who is bringing his years of experience to site to support the creative build. No doubt can be found beautifully building all those bits that allow the creative work to shine. We are thrilled to have you!
