Campervan Vintage was set up by Scott & Will in 2018 with the ultimate goal of buying an electric van to live in & travel the world, whilst sourcing the best vintage pieces! 
We love classic vintage, combining tailored silhouettes & baggy styles. We particularly love everything corduroy, dagger collars & double pleats! We have a penchant for good quality vintage leather jackets & waistcoats, and we love a good mix of textures and layers. Sustainability is a main focus for us and it underpins every process from the sourcing through to selling! We source our pieces from a number of places and people, whether it be from an auction fanatic based in a Leicester church building, or from select wholesalers. We don’t like to cherry pick as much, because that leaves the ‘less desirable’ items & we prefer to make use and restore it all.
We don’t just handpick the best garments. For us, the second hand clothing industry has to do more. As vintage resellers we think the onus is on us to not just re-circulate vintage & second hand clothing, but to restore each piece to its former glory.
So yes of course, we stain treat, wash and steam the clothes we put out, but we make sure each piece is cared for and given a bit of love. If there’s a tear in a shirt or it’s buttons that need adding, it’ll be fixed. If a pair of corduroy trousers needs re-hemming, it’ll be mended, & if a leather jacket is so creased that it can’t be worn, it’ll be sorted out; every leather jacket that can be cleaned and conditioned by us, is done. We’ve also established a relationship with a supplier of sustainable sunglasses, both festival styles and regular styles, made from recycled plastic.
The irony is that a lot of our restored items are our favourites !
