The Circus is back in town! We are delighted Panda is returning for another year of helping us build some circus skills. Join us Saturday 3pm at the Hive.
Open to all, big and small! Try your luck at juggling, diablo, plate spinning, staff spinning and balancing things on your head with Panda the multi-talented performer and dynamic teacher of circus skills!
Having been with the festival from the first year, Panda is overjoyed to be returning to The Hive again this Summer with Panda’s Juggling Academy.
A keen, self-taught juggler from around 14years old, Rosie (nicknamed Panda by her friends) began her professional teaching career at the National Centre for Circus Arts in 2013. She is now based in Bristol, a home from which to share her passion for juggling.
Panda is fascinated by the quantum nature of juggling; how it creates a visually artistic representation of maths and physics in practice. She appreciates the neurological benefits of psychophysical activity. And whilst she still finds it frustrating at times, the lessons learned from juggling with regards to perseverance, patience, and failure have helped her immensely in all aspects of her life.
